Know-How Information

Photovoltaic technology makes use of the abundant energy from the sun,
and it has little impact on our environment. Photovoltaic can be used in a wide range of products,
from small consumer items to large commercial solar electric systems.

Crystalline silscon which includes mono-crystalline silicon and poly-crystalline silicon is the most widely used raw material for solra cell mass production.
At present,crystalline silicon solar cell shares roughly 90% of the whole solar cell market.
The most widely used semi conduction material is thin film silicon,CIS and CdTe.
The usage of CIS (simplicity of copper indium selenium) solar cell causes a high cost for mass production.
In additional,the production process of CIS solar cell very complex,
which makes it very difficult for mass production.
Now, this technology is not mature enough for mass production.
The main ingredient of CdTe is Cadmium which has been proved to be kind of carcinogen.
This makes CdTe unconfromable with "Green" energy.
In additional,Tellurium is kind of very expensive materal for mass production.
Compared with CIS and SdTe technology,
thin film silicon solar cell technology is ideal for mass production.
